Golden Jubilee of KSCSTE-NATPAC

About the Golden Jubilee

50 Years of NATPAC (1976–2026)

The year 2026 marks a momentous milestone in the journey of the National Transportation Planning and Research Centre (NATPAC) — its Golden Jubilee. Established in 1976 by the Government of Kerala, NATPAC completes fifty years of dedicated service to transportation research, planning, policy and capacity building.

Over five decades, NATPAC has contributed landmark studies that have shaped Kerala’s transport landscape — from highway and bridge engineering to urban mobility, inland water transport, road safety and intelligent transportation systems. The Golden Jubilee is an occasion to celebrate these achievements, honour the people who built the institution, and chart a forward-looking vision for safe, sustainable and inclusive mobility.

As part of the celebrations, NATPAC is hosting the International Conference on TRANSFORM 2026, a global platform deliberating on the future of transportation.
